Asset Inventory Management
AOI offers a comprehensive long term storage and asset management program. We’re protecting your furniture investment by helping you with better asset utilization, elimination of obsolete inventory and reduction of inventory and storage space costs.
We utilize a software package offered through Herman Miller called AIM (Asset Inventory Management). This will help our customers in strategic asset planning, asset procurement, optimization of asset utilization, and determining asset relocation, replacement, or disposal.
Our customers are able to
- Receive, store, reserve, and withdraw assets from storage using a documented system of transactions
- Implement an effective churn management system
- Develop stocking programs with pre-determined levels of inventory
- Systematically evaluate excess inventory for reuse, sale, or disposal
- View inventories at multiple sites to understand the total value of assets across all locations
